TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Telemetry RN in Spokane, Washington, 99204!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 26 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 6 months of neuro experience License: Valid compact license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS Must-Have: Client unit experience is highly recommended. Proficient in using the NIH scale and caring for a variety of neurology diagnoses. Description: This position requires candidates to have at least 6 months of neuro experience. Thanksgiving and New Year’s are covered, allowing those holidays off. Support is typically needed for Christmas. The registered nurse will float between units as needed. Weekend shifts are required every other weekend. Expected patient ratios are 1:5. Candidates must be proficient in handling neurology cases. Previous charge experience is a plus. Candidates must have experience with telemetry and detailed knowledge of neuro care. Candidates should have experience in managing dysrhythmias and using telemetry equipment. Travelers may be required to float between nearby facilities. Inflexibility regarding scheduling may lead to contract termination. Special equipment and procedures are part of the role, such as pre/post neurosurgery care and procedural sedation monitoring. This role is within a designated stroke unit and a spine center of excellence. Candidates must possess strong communication skills and display a commitment to patient care.
