Senior Data Solutions Architect

Salary: $115,800 - 202,700 per year Requirements:

• We want someone with at least 12 years of experience designing end-to-end ETL/ELT data solutions, including 5+ years preferably in an Azure cloud environment and with Databricks.
• We expect comfort with agile ways of working, large-scale data migrations, modernization programs, proof-of-concept efforts, and requirements discovery.
• You should be able to create conceptual, logical, and physical data models that support engineering, analytics, and operational use cases, including entity relationships.
• Advanced SQL skills, strong data modeling capability, and hands-on familiarity with modern Lakehouse technologies are essential.
• Practical experience with Delta Lake capabilities such as change data capture, ACID transactions, optimization, and schema drift/evolution for batch and real-time processing is important.
• You should understand compliance, quality, and security frameworks for healthcare and insurance environments.
• A solid grasp of data structures, both structured and unstructured, data types and formats, and high-performance data storage in data lakes is required.
• Certifications in TOGAF, Enterprise Architecture, or Azure are a strong advantage.

• We lead the design and architecture of enterprise solutions across our Agency management software, EHB, and CRM domains.
• We develop and maintain solution blueprints for core platforms such as agency management systems, Google Cloud Platform, Azure Databricks, Workday, ServiceNow, Microsoft Fabric, and Azure SQL.
• We define and uphold medallion architecture standards across bronze, silver, and gold layers for our data Lakehouse.
• We establish secure, scalable integration patterns and data flows between AMS, HRIS, CRM, Azure Cloud, and development systems.
• We ensure our solutions comply with GDPR, HIPAA, and other regulatory requirements governing healthcare and insurance data.
• We collaborate with the Data Governance Council to align solution architecture with RBAC and RLS in Unity Catalog and Power BI.
• We promote metadata management and data lineage practices using Databricks Unity Catalog and other modern governance tools.
• We partner with enterprise architecture, Data Analytics, and Data Engineering teams to align on shared infrastructure and data strategy.
• We assess and recommend emerging AI/ML, Databricks, and analytics capabilities to support decision-making and our long-term data strategy.
• We support our data modernization and transformation efforts by building frameworks for AI-ready data platforms and enabling responsible predictive analytics and LLM-based solutions.
