WHAT YOU WILL DO

Experience and learn the fundamentals of LEAN manufacturing Enhance working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD via design of fixturing, tools, ergonomics assists, etc. Utilize Microsoft Office suite of software to create process flow diagrams and presentations Perform time studies and apply the data to justify systematic change Enhance interpersonal communication skills by working directly with operations and leadership staff Use quantitative and qualitative data to provide specific recommendations to plant leadership on how to reduce waste and improve efficiency of existing manufacturing processes. Assist Continuous Improvement team with plantwide LEAN and 5-S initiatives such as audits and standardized work creation. Location Sherex - Danboro Requirements

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Current student working towards a BS in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering or something similar Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of software Working knowledge of 2D and 3D CAD. Ideally AutoCAD or Creo. Proactive self-starter with an eagerness to learn Strong interpersonal communication skillset Strong public speaking skillset

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS NEEEDED
