Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a night shift position at a short-term acute care, Level III Trauma Center in Washington state.

Details

• Short-term acute care facility designated as a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• Rotating weekends required
• Block scheduling required
• Patient ratios vary by assignment
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• No on-call required
• No floating between units within this facility; however, all travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state of Washington

Requirements

• Current RRT credential required
• Active Washington state respiratory therapy license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current certifications required: PALS and ACLS
• NRP certification preferred
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting
• Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
• License required if applicable
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position

Additional Information

• Scrubs of any color are accepted
• No parking fees at this facility
• Former permanent employees of this facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Candidates with prior work history at any Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per diem) should be prepared to disclose location and dates of that employment
• Minimal RTO is expected for this position; a small number of days may be approved
