Pay Rate: Up to $69/Hour

Schedule: Full-Time, 37.5 Hours Per Week

Amergis Healthcare Staffing is actively seeking School Psychologists for full-time, on-campus opportunities in the Aubrey, Texas area for the 2026-2027 school year. Bilingual (Spanish/English) candidates are preferred but not required. All qualified and interested School Psychologists are encouraged to apply.

Position Details

• Full-time position

• Monday through Friday

• Normal school-day hours

• Fully in-person role (5 days per week on campus)

• Serves students across all grade levels

• Caseload approximately 85-100 students (to be discussed during the interview process)

• District utilizes SPED counselors to help reduce counseling workload

• Flexibility required as assignments may include supporting multiple campuses

• Three additional School Psychologist positions recently approved for the upcoming school year

Responsibilities

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and assessments

• Interpret assessment results and prepare comprehensive reports

• Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration

• Provide consultation to educators, administrators, and families

• Support student academic, social, emotional, and behavioral success

• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local special education requirements

Qualifications

• Master's or Specialist Degree in School Psychology

• Active Texas licensure/certification as a School Psychologist (LSSP)

• Previous school-based experience preferred

• Strong assessment, communication, and collaboration skills

• Bilingual Spanish/English preferred, but not required

Minimum Requirements:

• Must maintain current State licensures and/or certifications in state of assignment

• Experience in pediatric and adolescent population is preferred

• Master’s degree in psychology preferred

• Complies with all relevant professional standards of practice

• Current CPR if applicable

• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

• Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age
