Position Part‑Time Veterinary Technician at AmeriVet Veterinary Partners – Hilton Head Veterinary Clinic Location & Compensation Salary: $19 – $25 per hour, depending on experience, education, certifications, licensure, and location. Schedule: 2/10‑hour shifts, Monday – Saturday. Closed on Sunday and major holidays. Loved this place.” – Marta H. Who You Are 3+ years of veterinary clinical experience, as a veterinary technician or assistant. Degree from an AVMA‑accredited Veterinary Technology program preferred but not required. Knowledge of industry tools and equipment. Passion for working with cats, dogs, and their owners. Experience with proper animal handling and restraint. Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital setting. Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare. Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills. Dental procedure experience: scaling, polishing, radiology. Skilled in IV catheter placement, blood draws, and general treatment room tasks. Anesthesia monitoring and surgical experience including intubation, monitoring, pre‑operative and post‑operative care. Laboratory skills: in‑house laboratory machines and microscopy. Diagnostic experience including digital radiology, dental radiology, and ultrasound‑guided cystocentesis.
