Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care on the Geropsychiatric Unit, including assessment, monitoring, documentation, and reporting of patient status.
- Conduct mental and physical health assessments; maintain accurate histories and progress notes.
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders; assist patients with activities of daily living.
- Manage the therapeutic milieu with daily groups, patient education, and 1:1 interactions; collaborate with the multidisciplinary treatment team to implement individualized treatment plans.
- Plan, coordinate, and deliver nursing care aligned with diagnosis, goals, and discharge planning; complete timely documentation such as admissions, assessments, and progress notes.

Requirements
- Active New Hampshire RN license
- BLS certification required
- Education: Associate degree or diploma in nursing (2-year) required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Experience: 1 year of nursing experience preferred
- Certifications/Knowledge: Medical terminology required
- Ability to work in a hospital geropsychiatric setting and to perform mental and physical health assessments
