Work Environment

Our rehabilitation facility is designed to create a welcoming and supportive atmosphere for both patients and staff. Equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and amenities, our onsite workspace allows therapists to effectively deliver treatment and engage with patients in a conducive setting. You will work Monday to Friday, with flexible work hours available from 9 AM to 5 PM or 8 AM to 4 PM, providing a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions to develop individualized treatment strategies tailored to their needs and goals.
• Implement a variety of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy, exercise prescription, and modalities such as ultrasound and electrical stimulation, to enhance rehabilitation outcomes.
• Participate in the clinical instruction of physical therapy interns and students, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help develop the next generation of therapists.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to address patient care, ensuring comprehensive approaches to treatment and ongoing patient monitoring.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans as necessary, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards and facility protocols.
• Proactively identify opportunities for clinical research in your area of expertise with the support of the management team, contributing to the advancement of clinical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily focuses on treating outpatient clients who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. You will engage with diverse patient demographics, tailoring your therapeutic approach to individuals' unique challenges and recovery goals. An empathetic and patient-centered attitude is essential as you support each person's journey toward regaining strength and mobility.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• An active New York State Physical Therapy license is mandatory to practice within our facility.
• A minimum of two years of dedicated experience in orthopedic physical therapy, demonstrating a strong clinical skillset and commitment to patient care.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential in effectively interacting with patients, families, and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

• Board certification in Orthopedic Physical Therapy is highly preferred and will be regarded as a significant asset.
• Experience in outpatient settings that encompass collaborative and interdisciplinary treatment approaches.
• Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient progress and treatment interventions.

Compensation and Benefits
