This school-based Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) position is ideal for those who are passionate about working with children and adolescents and enjoy a varied, travel-based role. You'll help deliver essential OT services across multiple educational sites, ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive academically and beyond.

Key Qualifications:

• Current, active Florida COTA license required
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred
• Comfortable with travel throughout the entire county (sites assigned during the summer)
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with fellow educators and therapists
• Competence in maintaining thorough student records and progress notes

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Collaborating with Occupational Therapists to implement individualized treatment plans for students in K–12
• Supporting students’ abilities to participate fully in school routines and classroom activities
• Providing direct therapy in both group and one-on-one settings, adapting interventions to diverse needs
• Traveling daily between school sites within the county as assigned
• Documenting services provided and assisting with IEP planning and meetings
• Communicating progress and needs with educators, staff, and families
