Key Qualifications:

• Active Florida COTA license—required
• Previous experience in a school setting is preferred
• Willingness and ability to travel between school locations within Hendry County as assigned
• Strong communication skills for collaborating with teachers, therapists, and families
• Adaptability to manage changing schedules and priorities during the academic year

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver occupational therapy services to K–12 students under the supervision of an OTR, following IEP goals
• Travel to assigned schools throughout the county to provide care and support
• Document student progress, maintain accurate records, and communicate findings with the education team
• Assist in creating and adapting classroom materials and environments to support student participation and independence
• Participate in team meetings, contribute insights, and collaborate in multidisciplinary planning
• Support teachers in implementing strategies to enhance student engagement and skill development in the classroom
