Position Summary

The Sr. Product Marketing & Industry Solutions Manager develops and manages rugged mobile computing solutions for targeted North American markets, sectors, and use cases. This role gathers market requirements, defines solution roadmaps, and leads go-to-market and selling strategies that support revenue, gross margin, quality, and time-to-market objectives. The position serves as a subject matter expert on Getac compute solutions and integrated third-party technologies, manages cross-functional solution releases, and develops sales and marketing tools that support customer and channel opportunities.

Essential Functions/Responsibilities

• Manage the solutions lifecycle for assigned markets and sectors, including market analysis, requirements gathering, solution planning and development, launch strategy, competitive positioning, specifications, collateral, and sales/channel training.
• Develop solution launch plans, value propositions, vertical messaging, competitive positioning tools, calculators, presentations, and other sales-enablement resources with clear and measurable objectives and consistent messaging.
• Partner closely with Sales and sales leadership to refine processes, tools, messaging, and communication; engage customers to understand market requirements, use cases, solution gaps, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with Getac Taiwan R&D, Sales, Marketing, and Product Marketing on the technical and marketing aspects of compute solutions and communicate market opportunities, customer needs, partner feedback, and industry trends to cross-functional stakeholders.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on Getac compute solutions and integrated third-party technologies; communicate emerging industry and solution trends and translate business and technical requirements to support solution growth objectives.

Required Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience.
• Experience: 15+ years of experience in Solutions Management or Product Management within a mobile computing technology company, including senior-level interaction across departmental functions.
• Certifications: None specified.
• Skills: Strong knowledge of the product lifecycle, including development, launch, features/specifications, end-user experience, and end-of-life; advanced Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word skills; strong verbal, written, visual communication and presentation skills; market analysis, project prioritization, cross-functional collaboration, attention to detail, and sound business judgment.
