Brown Motors is hiring a BDC Manager to build and run our Sales and Service Business Development Center in Petoskey.

This is not a seat where you inherit someone else's process. We are bringing our Sales BDC in-house from an outsourced provider, and you are the person who builds it. You will set the standards, hire into them, and own the results.

It is also a working manager job, and we mean that. You will lead two BDC Representatives and you will personally work leads, answer calls and set appointments alongside them. If you want a seat where you only read reports, this is not it.

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM. No nights, no Sundays.

What we offer:

Base salary plus a documented performance pay plan, with total earnings in the $55,000 to $68,000 range depending on department results. Production pay on appointments shown, vehicles delivered, completed service visits, mobile service, and pick-up and delivery. Monthly KPI bonus up to $750 and monthly customer-satisfaction bonus up to $300. Medical, dental and vision. Paid time off and paid holidays. 401(k). Responsibilities

Own every customer opportunity from first inquiry through appointment, arrival and final disposition

Work internet leads, website leads, manufacturer leads, third-party leads, chat, text and social inquiries

Answer inbound sales calls and convert them into qualified appointments

Run Service BDC campaigns: maintenance reminders, declined-service follow-up, recalls, first-service reminders, missed-appointment recovery and inactive-customer reactivation

Work Ford Vehicle Care Portal opportunities and convert them into completed service visits

Schedule and coordinate mobile service and vehicle pick-up and delivery

Monitor dealership inbound call answer rates, missed calls, voicemails and callback completion, and hold departments accountable

Supervise, schedule, train and coach two BDC Representatives

Maintain CRM discipline and accurate documentation of calls, texts, emails, videos and outcomes

Report Sales and Service BDC performance to dealership leadership and recommend specific improvements

Requirements

Automotive BDC, dealership, sales, service, or call center experience preferred

Experience supervising, coaching, or holding a team accountable to measurable standards

Strong phone, written and digital communication skills

Real organization and follow-up. This job is won on the second and third attempt, not the first

Comfort with CRM, phone, scheduling, video and reporting systems

Ability to read performance data and turn it into a specific action

Willingness to personally work leads and answer calls, not just manage

Valid driver's license
