Job Description As a Security Officer Access Verification Specialist in Hazelwood, MO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $21.53 / Hour Job Schedule: DayTime Wed 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sat 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Sun 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do: Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, as working environments and conditions may vary by location. Minimum Requirements: At least 1 year of security-related experience is required. A handcuffing certification is preferred. A state, county, and/or city issued security-related license is preferred. A pepper spray certification is preferred. Access control and/or badge experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
