An opportunity is available for a travel pharmacist to support a 25-bed critical access hospital in Clear Lake, CA. This assignment offers exposure to a dynamic hospital pharmacy environment focused on delivering critical care services.

Location: Clear Lake, CA
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: ASAP

Schedule:

• Day shifts
• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Schedule is flexible; Director of Pharmacy open to blocking shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders to ensure safety and accuracy
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient pharmacy operations
• Consult with physicians to provide expert pharmaceutical guidance
• Apply pharmacokinetics knowledge for optimized dosing and patient care
• Utilize EPIC and Omnicell systems effectively within the hospital setting

Qualifications:

• Active California pharmacist license
• Prior hospital pharmacy experience, ideally within critical access or similar facilities
• Full-time availability throughout the 13-week assignment
