Job Title: RN Emergency Room Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Emergency Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum years of experience required License: Current registered nurse license to practice in the state of Ohio Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification Must-Have: ACLS/PALS certification may be required based on clinic needs Description: Provides safe and efficient age-specific nursing care to patients and families using the nursing process. Assists patients and families in attaining, maintaining, regaining, and sustaining optimal health status. Implements the nursing process by delivering effective relationship-based nursing care. Demonstrates technical skills in care delivery that result in safe practice and positive care outcomes. Communicates clearly and collaborates effectively to optimize patient care and clinical outcomes. Contributes to the professional practice of nursing by developing self. Possesses knowledge of nursing processes and practices. Utilizes a variety of technical equipment to meet patient needs and prescribed clinical therapies. This role encounters Protected Health Information (PHI) as part of regular responsibilities. Unit Description: 22 Bed Unit with a Supertrack area servicing both adult and pediatric patients aged 0 to 100+. Level 3 Trauma Center, Stroke and Chest Pain Center. Certifications required include BLS, PALS, ACLS, and NIHSS.
