Responsibilities

Administer medications and treatments according to the facility's medication policy Record and restock medication inventories, and process discontinued medication as directed by DON Measure and record vital signs including pulse, temperature, and blood pressure. Observe resident behavior and report any changes in condition or behavior to supervisor. Complete necessary forms, charts, reports, etc. in a descriptive manner, and submit them as necessary Report errors in the administration of medications Review and follow a written care plan. Assist with caring for residents when needed Perform other duties as requested

Qualifications

Completion of a standardized medication administration training program for unlicensed personnel in nursing homes through a Minnesota postsecondary educational institution. Current certification and listing on the Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry.

All applicants must be 18 years of age or older to be eligible for consideration. Exception: Individuals under the age of 18 may be considered only if they possess a valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license, in accordance with applicable regulations.

Previous experience as a TMA is preferred but not required. Must be able to lift 50 lbs.

Schedule: 5:00pm-9:00pm, rotating weekends Job Type: Part-Time Pay Range: Base pay shown above does not include shift differentials or $1.00 extra per hour when working TMA shifts. Based on experience/licensure
