Endocrinology Physician

Location: 1100 Central Avenue SE Albuquerque, NM 87106-4930 Job Type: PRN (FTE: 0.00) Summary: Provides comprehensive care services for pediatric endocrinology patients. The Pediatric Endocrinologist leads the care team in providing efficient and compassionate care. Presbyterian Medical Group seeks a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pediatric Endocrinologist to join our established practice in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Responsibilities Oversees and is accountable for the overall quality of care and clinical outcomes of pediatric endocrinology patients, delivered by an interdisciplinary team to ensure high quality patient care. Manages the physician/patient relationship, ensuring patient and family satisfaction. Participates in system‑wide health management initiatives. Provides input into the practice site’s financial, clinical, and service quality performance, budget, capital plan, and personnel issues. Assists in the development and implementation of pediatric clinical and service standards. Receives and resolves patient complaints. Participates in the recruitment and replacement of other providers. Enhances professional growth through participation in educational programs, literature review, in‑services, and workshops. Consults with and advises other providers regarding optimal and cost‑effective treatment of pediatric patients. Works to assure patient satisfaction with care. Participates in team and multispecialty group meetings. Maintains coding and encounter data standards for completeness, accuracy, timeliness, and reimbursement level. Assists in leading Certified Diabetic Educators in delivering appropriate patient education/care. Performs other functions as required. Qualifications MD/DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pediatric Endocrinology, New Mexico Medical License.
