We are seeking a Vice-President, Property Tax to immediately join Brookfield in Denver or Chicago to lead team beginning 1/1/2028. If you are committed to excellence and ready to contribute to a dynamic culture, we would love to meet you.Role & Responsibilities:Responsible for creating and effecting property tax strategies across core real estate sectors with an emphasis on driving best in class property tax performance by improving bottom-line profitabilityLead a geographically dispersed property tax team focused on performance and team developmentManage the property tax appeal process and the property compliance process including budgeting for covered assets without proportional cost growth Collaborate cross-functionally with Asset Management and Investments to support platform decision makingContinual assessment of scope of assets with an emphasis on growth using AI enabled and developed strategiesYour Qualifications:Undergraduate/Graduate degree in accounting, finance or related fieldExperience in all aspects of team management and personnel growthTechnical background in ad valorem taxation of real and personal property tax and property tax accountingProperty tax appeals experience -- direct representation before multiple jurisdictions in multiple states, for multiple property classes as well as external advisor selection and managementDemonstrated flexibility related to changing prioritiesExcellent communication skillsCuriosity about technological innovations in property tax spaceAdvanced knowledge of property tax advisors and databasesYour Career @ Brookfield:At Brookfield, your career progression is important to us.
