Wireless Engineer

We are seeking a highly experienced Wi‑Fi Test & Certification Engineer with strong hands‑on expertise in Wi‑Fi 7 (802.11be) Access Point and Controller testing . The ideal candidate will have deep knowledge of IEEE 802.11 standards, wireless test methodologies, and end‑to‑end validation of carrier‑grade Wi‑Fi products. Location: Hybrid / Onsite (as required) Experience: 7+ Years Employment Type: Contract / Full-time Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and execute test plans for Wi‑Fi Access Points, Controllers, and Wireless Gateways. Perform validation and certification of Wi‑Fi 7 (802.11be) and legacy Wi‑Fi technologies. Conduct end‑to‑end wireless performance, stability, and interoperability testing. Perform OTA testing, packet capture analysis, and root cause analysis of Wi‑Fi issues. Develop and execute test cases for functional, performance, and regression testing. Analyze Wi‑Fi KPIs and ensure optimal performance of wireless networks. Work closely with engineering teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve defects. Automate test cases and improve test efficiency using scripting and automation tools. Validate WLAN security features including authentication, encryption, and AAA mechanisms. Must‑Have Skills 7+ years of experience in Wi‑Fi testing, certification, or validation Strong hands‑on experience with Wi‑Fi 7 (802.11be) Access Points and Controllers Deep understanding of IEEE 802.11 standards (a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be) Strong knowledge of: MIMO, OFDMA, MU‑MIMO MCS Index, beamforming 802.11k / 802.11v / 802.11r Experience in Wi‑Fi test set‑up, test case development, and execution Strong troubleshooting and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) skills Experience with packet analysis tools (Wireshark, OmniPeek, or similar) Strong understanding of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, ARP, NAT) Hands‑on experience with WLAN security (WPA2/WPA3, 802.1X, EAP, RADIUS, AAA) #J-18808-Ljbffr
