We encourage & value different perspectives and are seeking a Field Service Representative who shares our commitment to inclusivity and enjoys working collaboratively with colleagues from diverse backgroundsPOSITION SUMMARY:The Balega Field Service Representative is a motivated self-starter who will lead and execute seasonal go-to-market and service strategies in specified distribution channels within their assigned territory. This role will foster growth, excitement, and awareness within the community by conducting education, promotion, social media posts, and merchandising tasks for Balega, Implus, and its products. The Balega Field Service Representative will also establish meaningful and lasting relationships with retailers, community partners, and consumers to drive sell-through of Balega products and increase market share . This role is ideal for someone who loves being on the road and enjoys connecting with people. Frequent travel to assigned accounts, designated consumer events, races, and weekend activities is an essential function of the position. Remote (Home-Based)- Phoenix / Tucson, AZ area or Southern California areaEssential Job Function:Support retailers through in-person visits, demos, working the sales floor, and partnering for local exposConduct clear and persuasive product presentations to educate and motivate retail staff and customersEngage with community and retail partners to create excitement and brand awareness around Balega (and TriggerPoint / RockTape as appropriate)Implement merchandising or promotional activations with product and POPProvide support for Balega. TriggerPoint, and RockTape through education and product presentations at REI and ScheelsRepresent Balega at local (and select national) events, races, and exposComplete detailed and accurate field activity reports turned in immediately after field visitsMaintain organization and appearance of field assets and product samplesUphold fiscal responsibility by managing travel, expenses, promotional material, and seedsEnsure in-field activities align with seasonal go-to-market strategies and sales goals established by the leadership teamStrategize with Sales Reps to create a service plan to support brand growth in assigned territoryCollaborate with other members of the Field Service Team to create and implement unique education initiatives and activationsBe the "eyes and ears" of the company: collect and relay feedback on Balega products, competitor brands, and industry trends being seen while visiting accounts and attending eventsBring your experience, ideas, and unique perspective to the team to contribute to the continued growth and success of The Field Service Team and BalegaProvide Social Media content for review and posting by our Social Media Manager through proper networksThis role requires frequent travel within Southern California, Arizona, Nevada to assigned account accounts, designated consumer events, races, and working on weekends.Up to 50% travel with peaks in Spring and FallMinimum Qualifications: Knowledge/Skills/Abilities2-3 years of experience in marketing, sales, run or outdoor specialty.Familiarity with the Balega product lineStrong time management, planning, and organizational skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsAbility to work well independently, as well as within a teamExperience working directly with consumers, fitting, and selling technical footwear, insoles, and socksProficient in Microsoft applications including OutlookSelf-motivated with the desire to show initiative and be proactiveLocation requirement : Remote (Home-Based)- Phoenix / Tucson, AZ area or Southern California areaEducation & Experience:A bachelor's degree in a related field of study OR 2 years of experience and professional achievements, ideally in marketing/sales and/or Run/Outdoor Specialty.Relevant Working Conditions & Physical Demands:Frequent travel (typically 2-3 days per week).Observe/Identify: The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).Hearing: Ability to effectively communicate with co-workers, customers and vendors.Operate: Write, type and use the telephone, copier, and computer systems.Stationary position: Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50- 75% of the time.Mobility: Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, attend meetings, etc.Communicate: Ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand.
