Capital Markets Analyst

**This role is based out of Cincinnati, Ohio** A Little About This Gig Agility Partners is seeking a qualified Commodities Business Analyst to fill an open position with one of our clients in the financial services industry. This is a unique opportunity to support a team focused on commodities trading, derivatives, and regulatory reporting within a capital markets environment. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of trading workflows, swap reporting, or commodities markets while partnering closely with technology teams to support critical business processes. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys solving complex problems, working at the intersection of business and technology, and contributing to highly visible trading and compliance initiatives. Responsibilities: Support commodities and derivatives trading operations through analysis, troubleshooting, testing, and operational support activities. Partner with business and technology stakeholders to evaluate trading workflows, regulatory reporting requirements, and platform enhancements. Monitor systems, investigate issues, validate changes, and help ensure the stability and accuracy of trading and compliance processes. Develop reports, analyze data, and provide insights that support business decision-making and regulatory obligations. The Ideal Candidate Experience within commodities trading, derivatives, capital markets, swap reporting, or related financial services environments. Understanding of trading desk operations, commodity swaps, trade lifecycle processes, or regulatory reporting requirements. Experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Trading Analyst, Market Data Analyst, Production Support Analyst, or similar role. Ability to work effectively with both business users and technology teams while translating requirements and solving operational challenges. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to investigate issues and understand complex processes. Exposure to market data platforms, trade reporting systems, SDR (Swap Data Repository) processes, or capital markets technology environments. Demonstrated curiosity around technology and innovation, including practical use of AI tools in professional or personal settings.
