Financial Analyst

Vaco is hiring for a Financial Analyst opportunity in Cincinnati, OH. Direct Hire, Onsite Salary: $65,000 - $80,000 per year. Position Summary We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Financial Analyst to support the company's financial planning, forecasting, reporting, and strategic decision‑making initiatives. This role will partner closely with cross‑functional teams to provide financial insights, develop forecasting models, analyze business performance, and drive process improvements that support organizational growth and profitability. Key Responsibilities Financial Planning & Forecasting Assist in the annual budgeting process, including the development of detailed revenue, expense, and cash flow forecasts. Prepare monthly and quarterly forecast updates based on current business performance and market conditions. Support long‑range financial planning and strategic initiatives. Financial Analysis & Modeling Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business opportunities, including new product launches, market expansions, pricing strategies, and cost‑saving initiatives. Perform scenario analysis and provide recommendations based on financial outcomes. Analyze trends, variances, and operational drivers impacting financial performance. Performance Management Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics. Investigate variances to budget and forecast, identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions. Provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiency. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. 2+ years of experience in Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), Financial Analysis, Corporate Finance, or a related role. Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem‑solving skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis. Experience with financial reporting systems, ERP platforms, and Business Intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms. Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present financial information to various levels of the organization. Strong business acumen with the ability to understand operational and financial drivers. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
