Our organization’s Department of Cardiology at a prominent academic hospital situated on Manhattan's Upper East Side is actively looking for a dedicated and skilled inpatient cardiologist . This role offers a unique chance to deliver outstanding care to a diverse range of patients in a facility renowned for its high-acuity cardiac services, advanced imaging capabilities, and a comprehensive array of interventional, structural, electrophysiology, and heart failure treatments.

• Conduct thorough inpatient cardiology consultations and manage patient care.

• Perform and analyze diagnostic procedures, including EKGs, echocardiograms, and stress tests.

• Create and execute treatment strategies for patients with various cardiovascular issues.

• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

• Engage in quality improvement projects and research initiatives.

• Participate in the education and mentorship of medical students and residents.

This full-time academic role presents extensive opportunities for clinical practice, research, and teaching. The ideal candidate should be Board Certified/Eligible in cardiovascular diseases and echocardiography, possess a solid background in inpatient cardiology, and demonstrate proficiency in transthoracic (TTE) and transesophageal echocardiography (TEE). Certifications in Nuclear Cardiology and cardiac CT (Level II/III) are advantageous.
