We are seeking an Asset Integrity Risk Analyst (RBI) to join our growing consulting team. This position is ideal for professionals who enjoy solving technical problems, working directly with customers, and helping organizations improve their Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) and Mechanical Integrity programs.

Working alongside experienced engineers and industry experts, you will support client workshops, RBI assessments, damage mechanism reviews, inspection planning, and digital Asset Integrity initiatives using technologies including SAP Asset Performance Management (SAP APM), SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), SAP HANA, and AsInt Edge .

What You’ll Do

Support and facilitate Risk-Based Inspection (RBI) assessments using API 580 and API 581 methodologies.

Analyze inspection history, thickness readings, corrosion data, and operating conditions.

Identify applicable damage mechanisms using API 571.

Support inspection planning, risk ranking, and inspection interval optimization.

Review asset integrity data and help clients improve Mechanical Integrity programs.

Participate in client workshops, site assessments, and data validation activities.

Work closely with client inspection, corrosion, maintenance, reliability, and operations teams.

Support implementation and use of digital Asset Integrity solutions, including SAP APM, SAP BTP, SAP HANA, and AsInt Edge.

Prepare technical reports, risk summaries, recommendations, and client presentations.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of AsInt’s Asset Integrity methodologies and digital solutions.

Qualifications

Education & Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Industrial Technology, Materials Science, or another related technical discipline.

OR

API Inspector certifications (API 510, API 570, API 653) with relevant industry experience.

OR

Equivalent experience in Asset Integrity, Mechanical Integrity, Inspection, Corrosion, Reliability, or Risk-Based Inspection.

Preferred Qualifications

3–7 years of experience in Asset Integrity, RBI, Mechanical Integrity, Inspection, Corrosion, or Fixed Equipment Reliability.

Working knowledge of API 580, API 581, API 571, API 510, API 570, and API 653.

Experience supporting refineries, petrochemical, chemical manufacturing, LNG, or other process industries.

Experience with inspection management systems or Asset Integrity software.

Exposure to SAP APM, SAP BTP, SAP HANA, or similar enterprise Asset Integrity platforms is a plus.

Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and problem-solving skills.

Ability to manage multiple client engagements and work independently.

A customer-focused mindset with a passion for continuous learning and professional growth.

Travel

This position requires 60–80% travel to customer sites, primarily within the Houston, Texas and Lake Charles, Louisiana regions. Occasional travel to other customer locations may be required based on project needs. Candidates should be comfortable working on-site at refineries, petrochemical facilities, and other industrial plants while supporting RBI assessments, client workshops, and Asset Integrity programs.
