Construction Litigation Attorney

We are working with a regional law firm, looking to bring on a Construction Litigation Attorney to join their growing team. The role is hybrid, full-time position. They need someone with 2+ years of construction experience. They are looking to hire ASAP. Requirements: 3+ years of construction experience 2+ years of litigation experience Previous experience working with contractors, suppliers, owners, etc. Must have excellent written and oral advocacy skills, plus enjoy working in a team environment where self-starters excel Admitted to practice in the State of Florida Responsibilities: Meet with clients to review case strategy Prepare pleadings, motions and briefs, and legal research for complex matters in Superior and appellate courts Argue motions in Superior Court and oral arguments in appellate courts Trial preparation includes review and analysis of all factual and legal issues relating to compensability, valuation, and constitutional matters Selection of witnesses and exhibits Preparation of written outline for examination of witnesses The annual salary for this position is between 160k-200k. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
