Note: This position requires 2+ years of directly relevant civil litigation experience, with a strong preference for general liability defense, third-party liability matters, and/or construction defect litigation. Job Description Manage a caseload of general liability defense and construction defect litigation matters from inception through resolution. Develop and execute effective litigation strategies tailored to the facts and needs of each case. Conduct and defend depositions, hearings, mediations, and other litigation proceedings. Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, correspondence, and other legal documents. Analyze claims, defenses, liability issues, damages, and case exposure. Communicate effectively with clients, insurance carriers, opposing counsel, experts, and other stakeholders. Take a proactive approach to case management, deadlines, discovery, negotiations, and litigation strategy. Prepare cases for trial and participate in trial-related activities as appropriate. Exercise sound legal judgment while maintaining high standards of client service and advocacy. Qualifications 2+ years of civil litigation experience. Experience with general liability defense and third-party matters strongly preferred. Construction defect litigation experience is highly valued. Active Florida Bar license in good standing. Strong legal research, writing, analytical, negotiation, and oral advocacy skills. Demonstrated ability to manage litigation matters independently and proactively. Strong attention to detail, organization, professionalism, and client-service skills. Early to mid-career attorneys are strongly encouraged to apply; candidates with approximately 2+ to 15 years of experience are generally targeted. In-house and solo-practice backgrounds are generally less preferred. A demonstrated history of meaningful tenure and progression with prior firms is preferred.
