Associate Financial Planner

Responsibilities Embrace the role of a structured yet coachable team player open to continued education and training from other team members Seek, identify, and secure strong relationships with new clients by serving as their trusted financial advisor Make strategic product, plan, and investment recommendations and financial advice to help clients reach their monetary goals Gather and assess each client’s financial information to accurately determine factors including financial status, cash flow, monetary expectations, financial goals, retirement plans, and additional factors related to wealth management Customize financial plans for each client based on his or her professional/work circumstances, life stage, and evolving financial needs What You'll Do Build relationships with potential clients and understand their financial needs Present and explain products and solutions Guide clients through the application and policy issuance process Provide ongoing support and service to clients Attend training and development sessions Qualifications Though not required, a valid FINRA Series 7 & 63/66 license is considered a plus Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, financial planning software, Google Suite, and other tools strongly preferred Basic understanding of the role of a financial advisor or financial consultant, as well as interest in the financial industry and financial products is necessary Exemplary math skills, communication skills, and relationship skills to support strong customer service for current and new clients A required Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or similarly related field Who We're Looking For College degree or equivalent experience required Highly motivated and self-driven individuals Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A passion for helping others A strong work ethic and a desire to succeed Sales experience is a plus, but not required.
