The Opportunity We’re looking for a full-time Rewinder Operator to join our growing production team. In this role, you’ll operate and support rewinding equipment used to finish high-quality labels and shrink-sleeve packaging for leading brands in wine & spirits, health & beauty, and food & beverage. You’ll play a critical role in the final stage of production — ensuring printed materials are slit, inspected, and rewound to customer specifications with precision and consistency. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, operating machinery, and taking ownership of quality and output. Location note: This position is based at our Mason, OH facility (8467 Duke Blvd) — about 7 miles from West Chester, roughly a 15-minute drive. One of the shortest commutes you'll find for skilled production work in Butler and Warren County. Free on‑site parking. Requirements What You’ll Do Operate rewinding equipment to slit and rewind printed materials to customer specifications Set up jobs including core loading, blade positioning, tension settings, and web alignment Inspect printed material during rewinding to identify defects, inconsistencies, or quality issues Ensure finished rolls meet specifications for width, diameter, and winding quality Manage roll changes, splicing, and material handling throughout production runs Package finished rolls and prepare them for the next stage or shipment Accurately record production data, including quantities, waste, and job performance Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of rewinding equipment Troubleshoot minor mechanical or process issues and elevate when needed Communicate effectively with press operators, finishing teams, and supervisors Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on quality and efficiency Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment What We’re Looking For High school diploma or equivalent Experience operating manufacturing equipment or working in a production environment preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and comfort working with machinery Attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and consistency Ability to identify defects in printed materials and take corrective action Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, hands‑on manufacturing environment Ability to stay organized and manage multiple priorities during production runs Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Experience with slitting, rewinding, or converting equipment is a plus, but not required Willingness to learn and grow within a production environment Availability for 2nd shift or the weekend shift strongly preferred Shift Schedule 1st shift — Tuesday through Friday, 6:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Three‑day weekend, every week. 2nd shift — Tuesday through Friday, 2:00 PM to 12:00 AM. Three‑day weekend, every week, plus a shift differential. Weekend shift — Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, 5:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Full‑time hours in three days, four days off every week, plus a shift differential.
