Our client recently retained us to assist with a Vice President of Sales search located near the St. Paul, MN area. This position will manage all plant operations and improve employee engagement. The successful candidate will be expected to find opportunities for building production processes, continuous improvement, building and maintaining employee relations, and the overall increase of operations efficiency. This high-impact position will have the opportunity to play a decisive role in the future success and growth of the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the operations with a result-driven framework focused on safety, quality, and continuous improvement to meet and exceed expectations and business goals.
- Empower teams with a managerial style that is collaborative, inclusive, and balanced in an approach to achieving commitments.
- Identify, share, and leverage best practices across the business.
- Plan and direct the manufacturing operations at the lowest cost consistent with established operating metrics/goals.
- Provide leadership and employee development through selection/talent acquisition, performance management, training/development, coaching/mentoring, and motivation of management, supervisory, and hourly personnel in alignment with the business goals and objectives.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Demonstrated successes within a metric-driven environment.
- Previous experience leading manufacturing operations.
