Maintenance TechnicianOur client, an industry leader in facility management, is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the operations support team, ensuring the smooth functioning and safety of the facility. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Maintenance TechnicianLocation: Orlando, FLPay Range: $22 per hourShift: Monday to Friday, 8am - 5pmWhat's the Job?Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on facility equipment and systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing components.Inspect and maintain the physical condition of the facility, addressing general repair, cleanliness, and structural concerns as appropriate.Perform minor carpentry, painting, and general repairs to maintain facility appearance and functionality.Perform grounds maintenance, including mowing, edging, trimming, debris removal, raking, and pressure washing.Review, prioritize, and respond to maintenance and repair requests in a timely manner, coordinating with external contractors when needed.What's Needed?High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in a maintenance-related field preferred.Previous experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar maintenance role.Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems and general facility maintenance practices.Knowledge of applicable workplace safety procedures and maintenance practices.Ability to perform job duties requiring prolonged standing, frequent bending and stooping, and lifting or carrying objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.What's in it for me?Opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.Engage in meaningful work that directly impacts the safety and functionality of the facility.Develop hands-on skills across multiple maintenance disciplines.Be part of a team committed to safety and excellence.Potential for growth and career advancement within the organization.Upon completion of waiting period associates are eligible for:Medical and Prescription Drug PlansDental PlanSupplemental Life InsuranceShort Term Disability Insurance401(k)
