Pall Corporation – Senior Buyer (Aerospace Operations) Overview Responsible for strategic and tactical procurement, inventory control, and supplier management for selected aerospace suppliers. The role plans and executes DMS (Danaher Materials System) strategies to meet on‑time delivery performance, reduce past due, and optimize inventory. Location & Schedule Onsite in New Port Richey, FL. Typical work schedule is Monday‑Friday. Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with key aerospace suppliers. Monitor supplier performance on delivery, quality, and cost. Lead corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives. Manage RFQs, supplier selection, negotiations, and contract execution. Ensure timely purchase order placement and follow‑through. Manage shortages, expedite critical materials, and mitigate supply risks. Ensure suppliers comply with aerospace standards (AS9100, NADCAP, ITAR where applicable). Participate in audits and drive supplier quality improvements. Partner with engineering on new product introductions (NPI) and supplier qualification. Work closely with finance on cost management and inventory targets. Assist in mentoring, training, and developing other team members. Assist in any other tasks requested by the Purchasing or Operations departments. Qualifications & Experience Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Management with five (5) years of procurement or supply‑chain experience in aerospace or manufacturing, **or** high school diploma/GED with seven (7) years of experience. Strong negotiation and supplier‑management experience. Knowledge of aerospace standards and regulatory requirements (AS9100, NADCAP, ITAR, EAR). Experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). Understanding of regulatory compliance (ITAR/EAR preferred). Availability to travel (approximately 10% domestic). Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational skills. Ability to work within a fast‑paced, continuously improving environment. Physical & Environmental Requirements Work at the computer for prolonged periods. Frequent sitting, twisting, and bending. Ability to lift up to 30 pounds. Travel may be required. Certifications (Optional) IOM, CIPS, APP, CPM, CPIM, or other relevant procurement certifications.
