Attorney/Lawyer

We are looking for a licensed attorney to join a Contract opportunity in Wakefield, Massachusetts, supporting a practice focused on residential real estate matters while building capability in trust and estate and probate work. This role is well suited for an attorney who wants hands-on exposure to property transfers involving estates and is eager to develop broader experience in estate planning and estate administration. The position offers a strong learning environment for someone with several years of practice who is interested in expanding into adjacent areas of law.Responsibilities:• Manage residential real estate transactions connected to estate matters, including transfers arising from probate and related proceedings.• Prepare, review, and revise legal documents associated with property sales, probate filings, and estate-related transactions.• Represent estates in real estate sale matters and help guide transactions from initial review through closing.• Support trust and estate planning work under the guidance of senior attorneys, building knowledge across probate and estate administration.• Draft motions and other court-ready documents required for probate matters and related legal proceedings.• Coordinate with clients, title professionals, courts, and other parties to keep matters moving efficiently and accurately.• Analyze legal issues affecting residential and commercial real estate matters when they intersect with estate administration.• Maintain organized case records and ensure filings, deadlines, and transactional documents are handled with care and precision.
