HVAC Project Manager

The team is focused on reliable performance, technical quality, and customer-centered service. Role Description The HVAC Project Manager role is a full-time, on-site position based in Orlando, FL. This role oversees HVAC and mechanical projects from planning through completion, coordinating schedules, resources, and subcontractors to meet project scope, budget, and timeline. Daily responsibilities include reviewing drawings and specifications, preparing project plans, managing material orders and deliveries, and monitoring field progress and quality. The HVAC Project Manager communicates with clients, vendors, and internal teams, addresses issues that arise on site, and ensures compliance with safety standards and applicable codes. The role also includes cost tracking, change order management, and documentation to support efficient project execution and successful handover. Qualifications Candidates should possess project management skills, including Project Management experience and the ability to oversee multiple concurrent projects. Candidates should possess expediting-related skills, such as Expeditor experience and Expediting to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment. Candidates should possess inspection skills, including Inspection capabilities to verify quality, adherence to specifications, and compliance with codes and standards. Candidates should possess logistics management skills, including Logistics Management experience to coordinate transportation, scheduling, and site deliveries. Experience in HVAC or mechanical contracting, with knowledge of sheet metal fabrication, HVAC systems, and chilled water piping. Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with field staff, clients, and vendors. Proficiency in basic project management software and documentation, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting tools. Relevant technical or vocational training, or a degree in construction management, mechanical engineering, or a related field is preferred.
