Pediatric Gastroenterologist
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Our organization, one of the largest multi-specialty medical practices in the Phoenix metropolitan area, is collaborating with a full-service hospital to find a full-time Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist.
This hospital features a Level 1 Trauma/Burn Center and is dedicated to providing exceptional pediatric care. It includes a Pediatric Emergency Department, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and a Pediatric Acute Care Unit. Additionally, there is a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Ambulatory Clinic offering both general pediatric and subspecialty services located near the hospital, along with other FQHCs throughout the city that provide pediatric primary care.
Key Responsibilities- Diagnose and treat a variety of pediatric gastrointestinal disorders.
- Perform a wide range of pediatric GI endoscopic and other procedures.
- Engage in teaching and educational activities for residents and fellows.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team.
- Experience and expertise in pediatric GI disorders.
- Demonstrated proficiency in pediatric GI procedures.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Spanish language skills are a plus, but not mandatory.
We welcome applications from both experienced physicians and recent graduates of fellowship programs. Our organization is also open to candidates who may require visa sponsorship, including J-1 waivers and H1B visas.
Working EnvironmentAs a teaching institution, we host nine residency programs, with our physicians serving as core faculty. The Pediatric Residency program is shared with a prominent children's hospital. We are affiliated with the University of Arizona College of Medicine, Phoenix, and Creighton Medical School, Phoenix Campus.
