Process Engineer

Kosmos Corp is looking for a Sr Process Engineer. This is with aleading manufacturer in the chemical industry, providing innovative solutions for a wide range of industries This position is located in Hamilton, MS. Job Description As a Process Engineer at Kosmos Corp, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and effective operation of our production processes. You will work closely with our production team to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to optimize our processes. Key Responsibilities Monitor and analyze production processes to identify areas for improvement Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve process issues Conduct process audits and provide recommendations for corrective actions Develop and maintain process documentation and standard operating procedures Train production staff on new processes and procedures Monitor and maintain equipment performance to ensure optimal operation Identify and implement safety measures to ensure a safe working environment Stay current with industry trends and advancements in process engineering Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field Minimum of 3 years' experience in process engineering Strong understanding of process optimization and improvement techniques Knowledge of process safety management and regulations Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work independently and in a team environment Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g. Aspen Plus) is a plus #J-18808-Ljbffr Kosmos Corp
