Support Engineer

Role Overview An Innovation Support Engineer is responsible for supporting and advancing automation and innovation projects within a dynamic engineering environment. This role involves collaborating across disciplines, supporting system design, testing, and implementation, and ensuring project completion within budget and schedule. The engineer provides technical support via various channels, troubleshoots hardware and software issues, and develops AI-powered tools for system monitoring and anomaly detection. Additionally, they assist in training teams, document resolutions, and contribute to knowledge base resources. Supporting site assessments and equipment installation is also key. Responsibilities Collaborate with multidisciplinary engineering teams, production, and IT to optimize system performance Design, test, and implement automation solutions, ensuring reliability and scalability Provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and document interactions Develop AI tools for system monitoring and resolution automation Support project planning, site assessments, and equipment configurations Create technical documentation and training materials Contribute to continuous improvement based on support feedback Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or IT preferred 3-5 years of experience in engineering or IT roles Proficiency in MS SQL, MS Office Suite, and familiarity with Agile/Scrum Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills Experience supporting HMI/SCADA systems is a plus Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with strong attention to detail Ability to travel up to 30% #J-18808-Ljbffr RG&T Solutions
