Registered Nurse - ICU

Critical Care Registered Nurse

Seeking an experienced Critical Care Registered Nurse with a cardiac background to provide specialized care in a Heart Failure ICU. The ideal candidate will manage complex cardiac patients with acute heart failure conditions and assist with advanced cardiac interventions.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-level nursing care to patients with acute heart failure, LVAD, and transplant needs.
• Monitor and operate specialized cardiac devices such as IMPELLA, IABP, and Swan-Ganz catheters.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and clinical protocols.
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and clinical progress accurately.
• Educate patients and families about cardiac conditions and post-procedure care.

Qualifications:

• Hold an active RN license with recent critical care or ICU experience.
• Possess strong knowledge of cardiac devices including Swan-Ganz, IMPELLA, and IABP.
• Demonstrate proficiency in managing heart failure patients and complex cardiac cases.
• Require experience with LVAD, heart transplant, and acute HF management.
• Be certified in ACLS or equivalent advanced cardiac life support training.
