SailPoint ISC Architect, Federal Civilian Agency

Architect the target-state IGA platform for a federal civilian agency migrating from legacy IdentityIQ to SailPoint Identity Security Cloud. You'll lead technical strategy, own the migration roadmap, and interface directly with agency IAM leadership and security architects. Public Trust clearance required before start. Responsibilities Define the ISC target architecture including tenant topology, source configuration, and connectivity model Lead the IIQ to ISC migration strategy including data mapping, role rationalization, and cutover planning Partner with agency architects to align IGA design with zero‑trust and FICAM reference architectures Author architecture decision records (ADRs), technical design documents, and security control mappings Review and approve engineering work products across onshore and offshore delivery teams Present technical approach and progress to agency CISO and program leadership Support ATO documentation, security assessments, and audit evidence production Requirements 8+ years IAM experience with at least 4 years in hands‑on SailPoint delivery Proven architect on at least one federal or large enterprise SailPoint implementation Active Public Trust clearance or ability to obtain one (US citizenship required) Deep knowledge of IIQ internals and ISC capabilities including differences between the two platforms Experience authoring technical design documents and ADRs for government review Familiarity with NIST 800‑53, FICAM, and federal IAM reference architectures Strong written and verbal communication with comfort presenting to executive stakeholders Nice to have SailPoint Certified Identity Security Cloud Engineer Prior ATO experience in civilian or DoD environments Familiarity with login.gov or ICAM solution integrations CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certification Compensation and benefits Top‑of‑market federal‑consulting compensation with utilization and performance bonuses.
