Medical Biller/Claims Processing - Patient Support Representative (Home-Based)

$23 per hour

IQVIA seeks a remote medical biller to process patient assistance claims, reviewing supporting documentation and determining payment eligibility against program rules. This contract position offers potential conversion to full-time employment and involves managing co-pay cards, vouchers, and claims support.

Responsibilities

Receive and review medical claims from healthcare providers with required supporting documentation
Evaluate claims against program-specific rules to approve or deny payments
Interpret EOB and CMS-1500 forms for processing accuracy
Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, fax, and other channels
Maintain HIPAA compliance and meet daily productivity quotas

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Medical billing program completion, degree, or certified medical billing license
Claims processing experience
Ability to interpret Explanation of Benefits (EOB) documents
Insurance verification experience
Call center or customer service experience
Payment posting experience

Compensation: $23.00 per hour
