Registered Nurse – Emergency Department

Location: Utica, NY
Rate: Up to $2300.00 Gross Weekly + benefits available from day 1
Shifts Available:

• 12-Hour Days | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
• 12-Hour Evenings | 10:30 AM – 11:00 PM
• 12-Hour Nights | 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM

Contract: 13-Week Contract | Local & Travel Accepted
Hours: 36 per week

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Emergency Department experience
• Pediatric Emergency Department experience required
• Previous travel experience required
• Active, unencumbered New York RN license
• EPIC experience required
• Charge Nurse experience highly preferred
• Must be able to float as needed

Certifications:

• AHA BLS
• AHA ACLS
• AHA PALS
• NIHSS
• TNCC

Responsibilities:

• Provide emergency nursing care for newborn, pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients
• Assess, monitor, and treat patients with a wide range of emergency conditions including trauma, stroke, sepsis, cardiac emergencies, and respiratory failure
• Administer medications, IV therapies, blood products, and critical care drips
• Perform rapid patient assessments and prioritize care in a fast-paced emergency department
• Collaborate with physicians and the interdisciplinary healthcare team
• Document patient care accurately in EPIC
• Float as needed to support patient care and departmental operations
