Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced healthcare professional to join our team on the night shift, working 3 twelve-hour shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM. This role is within a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) or Stepdown setting where excellent patient care is the priority.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 18 months of permanent experience in a Stepdown or PCU environment. An active Ohio nursing license or a valid compact state license is required for this position, along with current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications.

Active Ohio nursing license or valid compact state license
Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications

Essential Skills

Previous charge experience preferred
Proficient in charting systems relevant to patient care
Experience with patient ratios and managing patient care effectively

Additional Information

Travelers may experience an ECG rhythm recognition test and SafeMedicate training during orientation, with a maximum of two attempts to pass each assessment. Background checks will be conducted, and travelers must meet specific compliance requirements.

Commitment to Compliance

Candidates are required to adhere to policies regarding nicotine use, including a drug screening within the last 12 months. Qualifications and credentials must be verified and must be current at the time of application.

Continuing Education Requirements

Annual hands-on competency training is mandated for travelers who remain on continuous contracts. Additional modules may be required and are billable up to four hours for annual training.
