Senior Sales Director

Client is seeking a Senior Sales Director to lead revenue growth in the U.S. This role is primarily responsible for distributor sales, with a secondary focus on retail sales development. This person will also lead, build, and grow a sales team capable of expanding our footprint in key markets. This is a senior leadership role for someone who already knows the industry, already has relationships, and can turn those relationships into revenue. Key Responsibilities Drive national and regional distributor sales growth Identify, develop, and close new distributor opportunities Support selective retail sales growth to strengthen market presence and sell-through Lead, recruit, train, and manage a sales team with clear KPIs and accountability Build and execute a sales strategy aligned with the company's durability-focused market position Leverage existing industry relationships to accelerate market entry and channel expansion Build strong partnerships with distributors, dealers, and key retail accounts Work cross-functionally with leadership, marketing, and operations to support growth Provide ongoing market intelligence on pricing, competition, customer needs, and channel opportunities Help build the long-term sales infrastructure for a fast-growing tire brand Required Qualifications Must have a preexisting sales network in the tire industry, including established relationships with distributors, dealers, wholesalers, or other relevant channel partners Proven track record in tire sales, automotive aftermarket sales, or related channel sales Strong experience in distributor sales Experience leading, coaching, and growing a sales team Ability to develop strategy and execute it in the field Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills Ability to thrive in a growth-stage environment where speed, accountability, and initiative matter Preferred Qualifications Experience launching or scaling a newer brand Experience in passenger, light truck, commercial, or specialty tire categories Experience working across both distributor and retail channels What Makes This Opportunity Different Opportunity to help build and own a distinct category centered on durability Product story built around Tier One proven, proof-backed quality at a Tier 3 cost Backed by deep international manufacturing and tire industry experience Leadership role with direct impact on revenue, channel growth, and team development Salary plus uncapped commission Compensation Competitive base salary Uncapped commission Total compensation based on experience, network strength, and ability to drive results
