Set Up and Events Associate

In this seasonal set up role on our Care Team you will prepare, support, and restore ministry spaces so that children, families, and leaders can fully engage in worship and learning without distraction. You will serve the church by ensuring classrooms and worship environments are set up with care before services and returned with excellence afterward, creating a safe, welcoming, and well-functioning space where ministry can thrive. Job Type Part-time Pay and Benefits This is a seasonal position requiring work on Sundays. The pay rate for this position is $15 - $16 per hour and benefits include the ability to earn paid time off. Responsibilities Executes setup and teardown with care and precision, following established standards so spaces are restored well after each service Perform general janitorial duties to preserve the cleanliness of the campus Complete service coverage duties during service times and special events Success Criteria Success in this role is defined by the ability to create a prepared, welcoming, and distraction-free environment where ministry can flourish. A successful Care Team member consistently: Ensures classrooms and worship spaces are fully set up on time, clean, safe, and ready before families and volunteers arrive Executes setup and teardown with care and precision, following established standards so spaces are restored well after each service Anticipates needs by noticing details that impact the experience of children, families, and volunteers (supplies, room flow, cleanliness, safety) Supports the worship and service environment by preparing spaces that allow leaders and families to focus on God without logistical distractions Works dependably and collaboratively with the Care Team and ministry staff, arriving on time and completing responsibilities without needing remindersModels consistency and stewardship, treating church spaces and resources with respect and ownership Preferred Skills and Experience Good Time Management Skills Strong Customer Focus Team-Oriented Action-oriented Reliability/High Personal Responsibility Customer service experience or janitorial service would be helpful for this role Able to lift up to 50lbs Requires bending and lifting and using cleaning chemicals Salary Description $15-$16/hour #J-18808-Ljbffr Willow Creek Community Church
