Role Description This full-time, on-site Registered Professional Land Surveyor role is based in Waco, TX. The individual in this position will plan, coordinate, and perform land surveying projects, including boundary, topographic, construction, and ALTA surveys. Responsibilities include supervising field crews, operating and directing use of total stations and other surveying instruments, reviewing and validating survey data, and preparing maps, plats, and reports. The role involves collaborating with engineering and architectural teams, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The Registered Professional Land Surveyor will also support project scheduling, communicate with clients and stakeholders, and help mentor junior staff in best practices and safety procedures. Qualifications Current registration as a Professional Land Surveyor (RPLS) in Texas. Candidates should have at least 2 years of experience in Land Surveying. Candidates should possess experience with Topographic Surveys for site design, grading, and planning. Candidates should possess proficiency in Total Station use and related field instrumentation for precise measurements. Candidates should possess capabilities in Building Surveying for commercial, industrial, and public facilities. Proficiency with survey-related software (e.g., CAD platforms and data collection software) and familiarity with applicable state and local regulations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and mathematical skills, with attention to detail and data accuracy. Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with experience leading or coordinating survey field crews. Valid driver’s license.
