Registered Nurse (RN)We are seeking dedicated Registered Nurses to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in labor and delivery, with a focus on providing high-quality patient care.Contract DetailsContracts available for 13 or 26 weeks.Perm candidates from other provinces are eligible for travel contracts if separated for at least 3 months.Active compact licenses are honored.Two major holidays off can be requested. The unit only requires travelers to work one of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve.Work EnvironmentThis facility boasts a beautiful setting, often referred to as "Issa-spa", highlighting the emphasis on comfort and camaraderie among staff. Opportunities for professional development, such as book clubs and group dinners, foster a strong team culture.ResponsibilitiesManage labor and preterm labor cases in a supportive environment.Work in various capacities including circulating, OB-GYN, post-op, pre-op, scrubbing, and low-risk antepartum and labor/delivery.Administer blood products and manage special procedures such as cardioversion and defibrillation.Utilize equipment related to patient care, including epidural and PCA pumps.Attend all deliveries, including high-risk deliveries and GYN surgeries.Provide couplet care and support in low-risk antepartum and transition nursery settings.QualificationsMinimum of 2 years of relevant nursing experience required.First-time travelers are welcome to apply.Experience with Epic electronic health records is required.Certifications required: BLS, FHM, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate. ACLS certification is preferred.Staffing ratio is 1:1 to 1:3, with responsibilities possibly including floating to postpartum and labor/delivery units at other locations as necessary.Client Details State WA
