Corporate Controller

Randstad has partnered with a high-growth, $2B+ multi-state enterprise to identify their next Corporate Controller, based at their headquarters in Las Vegas, NV. Reporting directly to the CFO, you will serve as the financial backbone of the organization leading a large accounting department, driving technical excellence, and partnering with executive leadership across a complex, multi-entity footprint. This high-visibility seat offers direct CFO access, an aggressive M&A pipeline, and a clear succession path to the CFO role within two years.

Compensation : $200K - $250K+, plus a bonus + car allowance + benefits

Responsibilities:

• Direct the general ledger, fixed assets, inventory, and end-to-end month-, quarter-, and year-end close cycles in full accordance with U.S. GAAP.
• Maintain the corporate chart of accounts and direct the preparation, reconciliation, and analytical review of all corporate financial statements.
• Supervise multi-entity payroll accounting, compensation accruals, and regulatory adjusting activities to ensure accurate documentation and policy compliance.
• Direct compliance across audit, tax, and financial reporting requirements, managing the annual external audit process.
• Partner with the CFO to enforce strict segregation of duties, disbursement controls, and governance frameworks across all transactions.
• Evaluate performance trends and financial variances to guide executive decision-making while spearheading process modernization, automation, and system transition initiatives.
• Provide strategic leadership and professional development to key operational managers and staff, partnering with HR on talent strategy and succession planning.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and a CPA (active status not required).
• 5+ years leading a corporate accounting department.
• Deep command of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, GL management, reconciliations, internal controls, and relevant financial software/reporting tools.
• Proven leader capable of managing large teams, solving complex financial issues, and partnering effectively with executive and cross-functional stakeholders.
