We are looking for an experienced orthodontic treatment/financial coordinator for our multi-location practice. This is a full-time position in our Smithfield, Cranston and North Smithfield offices. We offer a great benefits package to include 401K, health insurance and paid vacation time. Candidates must possess a friendly and positive attitude as well as a sound work ethic. Assisting the doctor in all aspects of presenting orthodontic treatment is the primary responsibility. If you are looking for an opportunity to be a part of a fun and energetic orthodontic office, please reply with your resume.RESPONSIBILITIES Include:- Educate patients on the benefits of orthodontic treatment and choices.- Make payment arrangements through various financing options and explain insurance coverage and benefits. - Set up patient contracts when treatment is accepted.- Conduct patient consultations alongside the orthodontist.- Follow-up with patients through telephone calls and letters.- Calculate fees for treatment based on various insurance fee schedules.The RIGHT PERSON will meet the following criteria:* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Strong organizational skills* Professional demeanor* Friendly and easily approachable* Have the ability to answer questions regarding orthodontic treatment* Confident in sales and collecting payments for services rendered* Ability to present treatment plans and financial arrangements* Case presentation / on-going case management* Understand orthodontic procedures and schedulingGreat salary, benefits and performance bonuses offered!
