\nShift: Monday-Friday 8am-5pm
\nLocum Contract: 60 days (opportunity for conversion to full time)
\n \nOverview
\nWe are seeking a dedicated Locum Primary Care Physician to provide comprehensive outpatient medical care focused on continuity of care, preventive medicine, chronic disease management, and patient wellness. This role serves as a primary healthcare provider, delivering high-quality patient-centered care while managing a wide range of health conditions and coordinating care across the healthcare continuum.
\n \nThe ideal candidate is passionate about improving patient outcomes, committed to delivering exceptional care, and experienced in managing diverse patient populations in an outpatient setting.
\nResponsibilities
\n- \n
- Provide comprehensive outpatient medical care and treatment \n
- Evaluate, diagnose, and manage acute and chronic health conditions \n
- Maintain accurate patient medical histories and electronic medical records \n
- Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor patient progress \n
- Focus on preventive care, wellness initiatives, and disease prevention \n
- Educate patients regarding diagnoses, treatment options, medications, and healthy lifestyle practices \n
- Coordinate care and refer patients to specialists when appropriate \n
- Review and interpret laboratory, diagnostic, and imaging results \n
- Collaborate with nurses, medical assistants, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care \n
- Support initiatives designed to improve patient outcomes and patient experiences \n
- Exercise independent clinical judgment in managing moderately complex to complex patient care situations \n
Required Qualifications
\n- \n
- Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical school \n
- Active and unrestricted medical license in the applicable state of practice \n
- Active and unrestricted DEA license \n
- Board eligible \n
- Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience \n
- Strong knowledge of outpatient and primary care medicine \n
- Excellent clinical decision-making, communication, and interpersonal skills \n
- Ability to work independently and manage complex patient care situations \n
- Successful completion of required Tuberculosis (TB) screening for patient-facing healthcare roles \n
- Commitment to delivering exceptional patient care and improving consumer experiences \n
Preferred Qualifications

- Internal Medicine specialty training \n
- Experience in preventive care, population health, or value-based care environments \n
- Experience managing diverse patient populations \n
- Strong collaboration and leadership skills within multidisciplinary healthcare teams \n
