NOW HIRING: Part-Time Caregiver — Mercer Island, WA

Acti-Kare Responsive In-Home Care – Bellevue is seeking a compassionate, dependable Part-Time Caregiver to provide personalized in-home care for a client in Mercer Island, WA .

Location: Mercer Island, WA
Position: Part-Time Caregiver
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–3:00 PM
Pay: $21.00–$23.00 per hour , based on experience and assignment

• Assist with personal care, hygiene, bathing, dressing, and mobility

• Assist with ambulation inside and outside the home

• Prepare and serve meals while following dietary requirements

• Provide medication reminders as directed

• Assist with prescribed exercises and recommended activities

• Provide companionship and engage the client in meaningful activities

• Perform light housekeeping tasks the client is unable to complete independently

• Assist with shopping or accompany the client on errands when needed

• Monitor and communicate changes in the client's condition or behavior

• Communicate effectively with the client, family, nurses, and care team

• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment

• Respond appropriately and responsibly to emergencies or unusual situations

• Previous caregiving or related experience preferred, but not required

• Current CPR certification from the American Heart Association preferred/required as applicable

• Compassionate, patient, respectful, and dependable approach to client care

• Ability to work independently and follow established care plans

• Knowledge of basic housekeeping and meal preparation, including dietary considerations

• Strong communication, time-management, and interpersonal skills

• Physical ability and endurance to perform required caregiving tasks

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred

• Successful completion of a background check and reference verification

• Must be available Monday–Friday, 11:00 AM–3:00 PM

• $22.00–$23.00 per hour
