Manufacturing Technician II (Medical Device Experience Required)

Manufacturing Technician II will perform electro-mechanical assembly of robotic surgical modules and components for the OTTAVA platform. The role involves hands-on assembly work, functional testing, quality documentation, and support for production schedules while maintaining medical device regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Perform intermediate-level electro-mechanical assembly of robotic modules, joints, and control systems
• Conduct functional, electrical, and mechanical testing using calibrated tools and test fixtures
• Document production activities, test outcomes, and inspection data in MES and electronic systems
• Identify and troubleshoot basic electrical and mechanical issues; escalate complex problems to engineering
• Maintain production line readiness through equipment verification, material management, and cycle counts

Requirements

• 2+ years manufacturing or assembly experience in medical devices or regulated industries
• Proficiency with assembly tools: torque wrenches, multimeters, calipers, presses
• Hands-on experience with Good Documentation Practices in regulated environments
• Ability to work flexible schedules including overtime and weekends
• ESD control and clean manufacturing protocol knowledge
• Ability to interpret engineering documentation and work instructions independently
